Derrick Avila
Derrick currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, where he also a native. Living in such a diverse environment, he learned to understand and communicate from people from all creeds in life. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from California State University, Los Angeles.
Derrick has engaged with numerous political campaigns all over the nation, making sure that the candidates’ platform matched with the needs of their communities. In addition, he also led a small team in social media strategies in support of a political party. Derrick has also collaborated with local and federal government, including but not limited to: the Los Angeles County Law Library, the United States Postal Service (USPS), and the U.S. Census Bureau. He has also been in talks with the U.S. Department of State and various foreign governments via their consulates in the Los Angeles region.
In his spare time, Derrick enjoys movies, music, and gaming. Long term, he wishes to travel around the world and broaden his perspective through new cultural experiences.
